Overview: The aim of our Patient Handling Instructor course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to effectively design and deliver patient moving and handling instruction in the workplace.

What you’ll learn: You will come out of our course with the necessary skills to train others to be Patient Handling Instructors. We will cover these topics:

• People Handling Risk Assessment
• People Handling Principles and Techniques
• Planning and Design of People Handling Training Programmes
• Delivery of People Handling Training

How it’s delivered: The course is led by one of our Expert Instructors who will use a variety of videos, demonstrations and presentations throughout the course. The course is delivered in English.

Duration: This is a 3-day course.

Assessment: Students will be required to undertake a written and practical examination. 

Certification: Upon successful completion of this course students will be awarded a (*complete relevant information - CIEHF accredited course I believe?)
