Overview:
This Level 3 First Response Emergency Care (FREC) course is intended for people who want to obtain the leading qualification for events coverage, those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder that includes all the full range of first aid skills required by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).
Police officers, firefighters, and people who provide medical coverage at festivals and events, such as door supervisors, close protection operators, and security guards, as well as those who work in high-risk environments like the military, power plants, agriculture, and manufacturing, are frequently among the first to arrive at a scene.
What you’ll learn:
You will come out of our course with the practical competencies and knowledge needed to deal with a range of pre-hospital care emergency situations including:
- Administration of emergency oxygen
- Management of trauma patients
- Major illnesses
How it’s delivered: The course is led by one of our Expert First-Aid Instructors who will use a variety of techniques such as lectures, demonstrations, practicals, and group discussions amongst others, to guide you through the course. The course is delivered in line with the most up-to-date regulations and policies and in English.
Duration: This is a 5-day course.

- 6 practical assessment / skills test
- 3 theory multiple choice assessments
- Invigilated exam
Certification: : Upon successful completion of the course students will be presented with a Level 3 qualification First Response Emergency Care certificate.
